Abstract

his study aimed to analyze the bank rating in terms of differences the financial performance between the Regional Development Banks and Non-Foreign Exchange Commercial Banks. It is consist of capital adequacy, asset quality, profitability, Return On Asset (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Liquidity (Loan to Deposit Ratio). The fulfillment of capital adequacy and asset quality of the bank groups did not differed significantly, while in terms of profitability and liquidity there are significant differences. The earning difference is more likely due to the Regional Development Bank's sources of funds for the implementation of the Local Government Cash Holder function as the Provincial Government and District / City. The difference of liquidity are showed by the performance of Regional Development Banks and the Non-Foreign Exchange Commercial Banks in lending/financing, whereas the two groups of banks on average are still relatively low in lending.
