Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of cow urine and N, P and K fertilizer on growth, production and quality of green mustard (Brassica junccea L.). The experiments were carried out on 01 January - 21 February 2013 at the Experimental Station of Agrotechnology and Laboratory Department of Biology, Faculty of Agriculture Science and Business Djuanda University, Ciawi, Bogor. The experiment used factorial completely randomized design. The first factor is the concentration of cow urine (U) (0 cc L -1 , 5 cc L -1 , 10 cc L -1 , 15 cc L -1 , 20 cc L -1 ) and the second factor is the dose of N, P and K fertilizer (N) (0 g/plant, 2.02 g/plant, 4.03 g/plant, 6.05 g/plant). Results showed that cow urine concentrations did not significantly affect the growth, production and quality of green mustard, except the stem girth. N, P and K fertilizer significantly increased the average plant height, the number of leaves, stem girth, crown diameter, stover fresh weight, dry weight of shoots, leaf area and root shoot ratio of green mustard, but does not improve the quality of green mustard
